Using the Shippabo platform, you'll be able to apply for a U.S. Customs Bond or a Bond Renewal, and our Operations team will facilitate the request on your behalf. This quick tutorial will show you how to submit those types of requests.
Applying for a Customs Bond
When applying for U.S. Customs Bonds, first click on your initials in the upper right menu then select Company Profile. Here, you should find a familiar screen: your onboarding list.
Select the fourth step Customs Info and then at the bottom of that page you'll see Apply for Customs Bond. Once you’ve completed the required information, the Shippabo team will be notified of your bond application and process it.
Renewing Your Customs Bond
Renewing your U.S. Customs Bond can be facilitated through Shippabo's expert Operations Team.
Shippabo's bond partner informs our Operations Team of all upcoming bond renewals. Our team will then contact you, asking if you'd like to process the renewal and inform our bond partner of your decision.
If you'd like to preempt this process, you can reach out to our Operations Team at any time, informing them whether or not you'd like to proceed with the renewal.
