What Can my Partners see in the platform?
Given that the Shippabo platform empowers you to invite a diverse range of shipping partners who contribute to your shipments, it is natural to inquire about the scope of their accessibility. Let’s discuss the extent of their visibility within the platform.
The Shippabo platform is meticulously crafted to facilitate collaboration among diverse partners involved in your shipment's journey, providing a unified and reliable source of information for all parties. Nevertheless, we recognize the presence of sensitive data within the platform, which may necessitate restricting access to specific partners in order to preserve confidentiality.
Upon adding an individual to your network as a shipper, their visibility will be limited to shipments where they have been designated as a Partner. Consequently, suppliers will not have access to shipments originating from other suppliers. Similarly, trucking partners will operate under the same parameters, having access solely to shipments for which they have been assigned as the designated trucker.
The Shippabo platform incorporates pre-defined access restrictions for different partner types, ensuring that sensitive information remains secure. For instance, when a partner is added as a supplier or trucker, they will be unable to view confidential aspects such as invoices or quotes. However, your customs broker functions under distinct parameters, granting them access to your commercial documents as this information is required for seamless customs clearance.
Shippabo instills confidence by safeguarding your sensitive information, ensuring that it is securely accessible solely to the intended recipients.
