How to Manage all of your PO's on the Shippabo Platform

Juggling numerous POs across different suppliers and keeping track of every impending order can be a daunting task. Let's explore the enhanced method available on the Shippabo platform that simplifies the management of all your POs
Where to Locate your PO's
First, select the Finance tab from your top navigation bar. Select POs.
You'll now see all of your PO's.
On the Views panel on the left side of your screen, you can view your PO's based on their status:
- Upcoming
- Past Due
- Unknown
- Open
- Closed
- All
You'll notice the functionality of this PO page is extremely similar to your Shipments and Containers page. You can export your PO view to CSV, and utilize the filters and columns arranging tool located in the upper right hand corner of your page.
How to Search for a PO
To search for a PO within the PO page, simply type the PO number in the search bar, located in the upper right side of your page.
How to Create a New PO
To create a new standalone PO from the PO page, begin by pressing “Add a New Purchase Order”, in the upper right side of the page.
You'll now be prompted to enter the details of your PO. Only the fields with a red asterisk need to be filled out to save your PO.
Once you've entered all of the information for your PO, press Save. The PO will now appear on your PO list.
How to Link an Existing PO to a Shipment
To link an existing PO to a shipment, begin by pressing on the specific PO number.
Once you do so, a side panel will appear, where you can edit the PO details. Navigate to the bottom of this side panel, to the field labeled “Assigned Shipments”.
You can now begin typing the Shippabo shipment ID number, or select it from the drop down list.
Press Save, and the PO will now be linked with your selected shipment.
How to Use Filters on the PO Page
To apply filters to your PO page, begin by pressing the “Filters” button on the upper right hand side of your screen.
You'll now see all of the filter options you have available, and you can begin to select filters and apply parameters to them.
As you apply filters, they will appear on the right hand side of your screen.
Once you've made your selections, press “Apply Changes”, and your view will be updated.
How to Adjust the Columns that Appear on your PO List
To adjust the columns that appear, begin by pressing the “Filters” button.
Next, select “Customize Columns”.
You can now toggle on or off specific columns to adjust your PO view to your needs.
Once you've made your selections, press press “Apply Changes”, and your view will be updated.
