For each of your unique shipments, there is a detailed schedule, outlining each specific phase of the journey. It contains your predicted dates, as well as a field to enter the actual dates for each phase.

You can locate this timeline in the Details tab of your shipment’s navigation bar.

This timeline has various stages within it:

Shipment Booked

POL Departure

POL Arrival

Delivery

Shipment Complete

To the left of each of the stage names, there is an icon indicating whether the stage has been completed yet. Once it’s completed, the icon will have a check mark.

If the stage is missing data, there will be a red dot to the right of it. This lets you know that certain data points, such as your actual departure, arrival, delivery or container return dates, can be added to this stage to confirm the milestones of your shipment.

You can enter the actual date in the field utilizing the calendar tool, and press Update.

The more confirmed/ actual data that is entered in the shipment, the more accurate the prediction will be able to be as you are verifying the predicted dates with the actual dates. In turn, you will also be able to generate more accurate and precise reports as you have complete data points correlating with your shipments milestones.
