Effective pre-planning of your shipments plays a critical role in maintaining organization and optimizing inventory management. Shippabo's Pre-Planning tool ensures comprehensive alignment among your team members regarding the status of inventory in the pipeline.

 

 

Initiate the pre-planning process by entering your PO information into the platform as soon as you have a Cargo Ready Date (CRD). You'll want to use the “Plan Future Shipments” tool. For assistance in creating a shipment request, please refer to our detailed guide on how to create a quote request. 

 

 

Once you enter your initial quote details to the platform, your shipment will be in “Planning” status, enabling you to keep an eye on what you have upcoming. 

You can even create an automated report for your team showing what PO’s you have in planning status, along with their anticipated CRD.

Once your cargo ready date is approaching, the Shippabo team will provide you a quote from the platform for your shipment. As soon as you approve the quote, your shipment will move into “Pending” status.
