Visibility Shipment Lifecycles
During its journey, your shipment will progress through various stages, referred to as Lifecycles.
When you input your shipment for tracking, it will automatically transition to the Processing status. This status will persist for a brief period while the platform gathers the tracking data for the shipment. Shortly after, your shipment will advance to the Booked lifecycle, and the Shippabo ID number for your visibility shipment will be generated.
From here, once the departure from the origin port is confirmed, your shipment will automatically move into Transiting lifecycle.
Once your shipment reaches the day of arrival to the first POD, it will automatically move into Arriving lifecycle.
If your shipment is traveling inland via rail, it will move to Arriving Inland lifecycle on the day of arrival to the rail location.
From here, the next step that your visibility shipment will move into will be Completed.
The empty container return date being entered will automatically trigger the shipment to move into completed status.
