How to update your milestones

It is crucial to diligently monitor and update the diverse milestones and statuses related to your shipments to effectively manage them within the platform. The Shippabo platform allows for the tracking and modification of numerous milestones, which are instrumental to the success of your shipment operations.
Updating Milestones in an Individual Shipment
Your milestones are available in the Overview tab of each of your shipments. The milestones will track and show you what documents and releases may still have action required for your shipment, helping you to stay on top of every milestone along your shipment’s journey.
Selecting any particular milestone will allow you to instantly upload a document. The document will also be automatically saved to your Documents section of your shipment.
Updating your Cargo Ready Date
You’re able to track your cargo ready date for all of your shipments within the platform, allowing you to ensure your cargo is being booked according to it’s ready date.
This can be edited under your Details tab of your individual shipment navigation. To do so, select the Details tab on your shipment navigation bar.
Hover over the Shipment Information section to make the editing tool appear, and press on it.
From here, you can adjust the cargo ready date as needed, and press Save.
You will get a notice that you’ve successfully updated your shipment.
Your activity log will display the action of the cargo ready date being updated, enabling your team to easily identify when CRD’s are being updated.
If you arrange your own trucking & would like to use the platform to update your Delivery milestones:
Incorporating your scheduled delivery dates within the platform enables you to effectively utilize the dashboard calendar and container reports to closely monitor your upcoming deliveries. After confirming either the actual or scheduled delivery date with your drayage partner, you can promptly enter this information into the platform.
Kindly note: If Shippabo is responsible for coordinating destination trucking on your behalf, our dedicated team will ensure that delivery milestones are updated accordingly, alleviating you from the task.
First, go to your Shipments page from your global navigation bar.
Next, open up the shipment you’d like to enter the scheduled delivery for.
From here, Select Details from your shipment navigation menu.
Scroll down to the Delivery section, and hover over it to make the edit option appear in the upper right hand corner. Select this to begin editing the delivery details.
From here, press into the box containing the container you’d like to enter the delivery details for.
You can now enter the estimated delivery or actual delivery dates.
Once you’re finished, press Save at the bottom of your screen. You’ve now successfully update your container’s delivery dates!
The details tab will now reflect your delivery dates.
Empty Return Date
Additionally, inputting your container's empty return date within the Shippabo platform is a valuable feature. This allows your team to generate comprehensive reports, monitoring the progress of your container's empty returns, thereby guaranteeing a thorough oversight of all pertinent processes.
To do this, Follow the same steps as entering your delivery dates, just select the Return date instead of delivery date.
